Investment

Your business is worth the cost of an experienced, creative photographer. We live in a very image heavy world, so your business needs to shine. My rates start at $225 for the first hour and $175 for each additional. I charge a bulk editing fee for your session and mileage to travel to you (if you're more than 25 miles from my home). Contact me for more details or to discuss your budget.

FAQ

How do you photograph my food & drink?

First we have a little chat. i want to talk to you to learn about what you do, the origin story of your business and your vision of where you want to go. This helps give me a deeper understanding and shapes our shared vision for the images we want to create together.
As you'll see, my style is my style, like all photographers. If what I create resonates with you, that is amazing. While I do what I do, if you have a style or vibe you're going for, I want to hear about it. I love to experiment and play. Great thing can happen when you try something new. Do feel free to tell me what you envision for images of your work.

Where are you based and do you travel?

I split my time between CT and the Hudson Valley in Upstate NY. I love to travel and see new territory. As mentioned above I do ask for mileage at the current national rate to cover my travel to you.

When will we get our photos?

Tell me when you need them. I try to make your deadline, within reason. Depending on the scope of our shoot, delivery time may vary. Typically, I shoot for 7-10 business days. If you'd like or need your images quicker, I can do that for a rush fee of $350 for your shoot.

How many pictures will we receive?

Well, that depends on what we shoot. I aim to deliver at least 10 images of each of your dishes or drinks. If shoot something like a pastry being dusted and you want to make a GIF, you'll probably get a few more. Headshots will receive the same amount of polished images. Events will get a whole bunch more. Please feel free to ask me for more details.

Do I own the rights to the images you create for me?

Short answer is no. All photographers own the rights to the images they create unless a client wants to purchase the full rights to them. Basically this means you cannot sell the images I create for you to a third-party or use them to create and sell merchandise, etc. You may use them on your website and social media. If you want to use them for any other purposes, I ask that you contact me first to discuss how you'd like to use them. Many of my clients use their images in articles about them, just contact me first for permission so that I can pass along my credit line.
